Tournament Rules:

The entry fee is $35.00 per
angler.

The tournament is open to
members of Mathews Yacht Club (active, honorary and accepted members on the
waiting list) and their families.

All entrants must complete a
registration form (available at the clubhouse or on-line
here) and pay the entry fee.

All fish entered in the
tournament must be weighed at an official weigh station (Queen Creek Tackle,
Morningstar Boatel, etc) and the weigh master’s form submitted with your
entry (a Fish Entry Form is available
here or at the clubhouse).

All fish entered must be of
legal size and must have been legally caught on hook and line. A leader
board listing the top fish to date in each category will be maintained in
the bar at the clubhouse throughout the tournament.

80% of the entry fees will be
paid out in prize money with the remaining 20% going into the MYC
scholarship fund. One-third of the prize money will be paid to the angler
who catches the largest Flounder; one-third to the angler who catches the
largest Speckled Trout; and one-third to the angler who catches the largest
Croaker. Prizes will be awarded at 6:30 PM at the clubhouse on a Friday,
September 11, 2009. Winners need not be present to win.

The tournament will begin on
Saturday, May 23, 2009 and will end at 5:00 PM on Monday, September 7, 2009
(Labor Day). All entries must be in the hands of the tournament director or
his designee by the end of the tournament. In case of a tie, the earlier
entry wins.

All decisions of the
tournament rules committee shall be final. The rules committee consists of
the following:
